Roberto Marrocco, CFA

Passionate about finance and new technologies, Roberto has been integrating quantitative management models into his investment strategies for many years. Drawing on his vast experience and determined to further exploit the unique capabilities of AI, he co-founded Mageska Capital with the goal of providing investors and portfolio managers with innovative, agile and efficient strategies.

Jacques Larivière, MBA, CPA
President
An experienced entrepreneur, passionate about financial markets and curious about new technologies, Jacques is motivated by the idea of developing innovative tools using AI to add performance, flexibility and agility to traditional investment portfolio models. Interested in this vision, he joins forces with Roberto, co-founds and presides over Mageska Capital and Mageska Technologies.

A graduate in finance from HEC Montreal, Emma worked with Roberto for several years at RBC Dominion Securities, where she demonstrated excellent organizational skills and strong leadership. At Mageska Capital, she holds the position of Chief Compliance Officer, while also being responsible for managing the firm’s operations and investor relations.

JULIEN PERTH, CFA
Senior investment Analyst
Julien has 8 years of experience in the financial sector. Before joining Mageska Capital, he worked in the credit strategy team at CDPQ, where he gained expertise in developing investment strategies and managing financial risks for an institutional portfolio. At Mageska Capital, Julien supports Roberto in the analysis of investment securities and the development of strategies.

Alexandre Moreau
Lead developer, M-LAB platform
Alexandre brings over 6 years’ experience in software development to Mageska Capital, specializing in backend development and DevOps process optimization. As M-LAB’s lead developer, he plays a central role in the ongoing development of our investment strategy platform.
Working closely with Julien and Roberto, Alexandre implements new functionalities designed to enhance the efficiency and innovation of our strategies. His creativity and technical expertise make him a key player in the constant evolution of M-LAB.

Natacha Dufresne, CPA
Director of Finance
Drawing on her diverse experience gained from various corporate mandates, including in the financial sector, Natacha joins the Mageska Capital team as Director of Finance. Her dynamism, versatility, and strong sense of ethics and integrity are significant assets that will support the team in managing the firm’s overall operations.
